In order to follow our commitments, we have implemented new eco-friendly dry amenities in our rooms, which include dental kits, shaving kits, combs, shower caps, cotton pads, nail files, cotton buds, sanitary bags and slippers. All of the items are made with natural waste products from agribusiness, such as wheat straw and corn starch. These products are designed to decompose in landfills within 90 days. It’s not only the amenities that are made from natural waste products, we value the packaging of each product too. Our amenities wrapping bags are made from stone paper; material that is manufactured from calcium carbonate bonded with small amounts of resin and which become as strong and as durable as actual paper. By using these products from a local supplier, we have helped the environment by reducing single use plastic, decreasing our carbon footprint and supporting local businesses as well!

Altogether with Phuket Marine Biologist Center (PMBC), Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort always pay an attribute on saving the environment especially the ocean and small marine lives and participate with local communities. We organized a Baby Shark Release x Charity Brunch Event which helped release the baby bamboo sharks to Panwa Beach. Bamboo sharks are necessary for the coral reefs themselves. If sharks are to disappear, certain species that feed on coral vegetation will proliferate and affect the coral’s survival. This is a once in a lifetime experience for all the lovers of the sea to enjoy Sunday brunch with the various choices of seafood buffet that Pullman Panwa has in offer and help save the ocean at the same time!

Quarterly Blood Donation for the Thai Red Cross Society

Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort Heartists have an opportunity to donate blood with the associate from the Blood Donation of Thai Organization of Phuket and Vachira Phuket Hospital. We believe giving blood equals giving life. We donated a total of 12,600 blood units for those hospitals and organizations in need. We kindly appreciated our heartists’ participation in social services. And we still thrive to continue with our contribution with local communities’ activities.
