Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort recognizes that Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) can create environmental, economic and social impacts through the use of energy, water, food, materials, transportation, procurement and other resources.
The hotel is therefore committed to integrating sustainability principles into the planning and delivery of MICE activities while maintaining guest comfort, service quality and operational efficiency.
The hotel’s Sustainable MICE approach is based on three key dimensions:
1.1 Environmental Sustainability
The hotel aims to minimize the environmental footprint of meetings and events through responsible use of natural resources, reduction of waste and unnecessary consumption, efficient use of energy and water, responsible procurement, and promotion of lower-impact alternatives wherever practical.
1.2 Economic Sustainability
The hotel recognizes that responsible resource management contributes to operational efficiency and long-term business value. Sustainable MICE practices should support efficient use of resources, reduce unnecessary expenditure and wastage, encourage responsible purchasing, and enhance the hotel’s ability to provide competitive and responsible meeting and event services.

The hotel aims to create MICE experiences that promote awareness, participation and shared responsibility among guests, event organizers, suppliers, partners and Heartists. Sustainability practices should be implemented in a positive, inclusive and practical manner without compromising reasonable guest comfort, accessibility or service quality.
Through these three dimensions, Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort aims to deliver MICE experiences that balance environmental responsibility, economic sustainability and positive social impact.

3.1 Responsible Resource Use
Energy, water, materials and other resources should be used efficiently and according to actual operational requirements. Unnecessary consumption should be avoided wherever reasonably possible.
3.2 Waste Prevention and Circularity
The hotel will prioritize the prevention and reduction of waste before disposal. Reuse, recycling and responsible material choices should be incorporated into MICE activities whenever practical.
3.3 Sustainable Food and Beverage
Meeting and event food and beverage services should consider responsible consumption, resource efficiency, waste reduction and sustainable alternatives while maintaining appropriate quality and guest experience.
3.4 Responsible Procurement
Products and services used for meetings and events should, where practical, consider environmental and social impacts alongside quality, operational requirements and economic value. Responsible, reusable, recyclable or lower-impact alternatives should be preferred where suitable.
3.5 Sustainable Mobility
The hotel will encourage event organizers, delegates and partners to consider shared, efficient or lower-impact transportation options where practical and appropriate to the destination.
3.6 Responsible Event Materials and Communication
Digital, reusable and lower-impact alternatives should be prioritized over unnecessary disposable or printed materials wherever practical.
